Hi there, I'm Jenn, a single mama to the raddest little boy/dinosaur—depending on the day! I pride myself on making sure to show him that anything is possible with a little perseverance, and refusing to give up on your dreams—even when the road feels a little unpaved ahead.
Creativity has always been at the forefront of who I am and what I do. I started my career many moons ago as an artist of hair. I got to use my creativity not only behind the chair but at Fashion Weeks in LA, doing hair behind the scenes, at hair shows up on stage, on the biggest days of people's lives, doing hair and makeup for brides and their bridal parties, and more. And it was as a stylist that I began my delve into marketing and design—figuring out how to build my brand and market myself to the world.
After a decade plus in the cosmetology world, I took an unexpected leap into working for Microsoft (I know, right?)! But it was this leap of faith into the world of technology as a Visual Lead that got me to where I am today. This is where my passion for design grew beyond the creative to learning the principles. My love for working in Photoshop and Illustrator took on a life of their own and ultimately introduced me to the world of Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Graphic Design, and Illustration (that's another story).
